That's a nice link. There are quite a lot of people of the name in the area. My Great Great Grandfather was originally from Widnes, but moved to St. Helens before the First World War.

A postgraduate student had an account on old Twitter some years ago, focused on their research on that very beach rubble. Sadly, I can't remember the account handle or their name, but it was interesting stuff.
