This isn’t inherently bad, I just had assumed it was a separate ecosystem. I think most ppl probably are in the same boat as me.

The thing people need to be aware of is that @flashes.blue doesn’t (yet?) operate on an independent platform with a separate user database. It simply pulls data from Bluesky and displays it with an emphasis on photos.

Users just need to follow the advice in the app and create a separate Bsky acct.
