They're end caps for the posts of a whelping box. Without them, the horizontal slats fall out when you lift the posts to swap out the soiled floor pads. It's an unnecessary pain in the ass. Now it'll be a little less of one when the next crop of potatoes arrives next month.

Brain is being an asshole so I figured I'd put it to use and try and tire it out so I can actually sleep tonight. It's not all strap-on rings for ginormous dicks and lube holders here, sometimes we make functional vanilla things too!
