I asked someone who was involved in one of the tournaments how many teams actually signed up.
Translation: OMG, so many, they had to restrict some. They booked two pitches and probably had over 30 teams. 3/10

but the enemy of our enemy is not our friend. Make no mistake though, there is real resistance from Africans who genuinely have Africa’s best interests at heart. And there are also allies who seek to rightfully and justifiably set the record straight. These woes are nothing new under our sun.

You know, I was wondering where, for a continent that's always deemed poor and can't innovate, we get the money for these conflicts. And the answer is: either there is external funding, or the local authorities are doing this for free/peanuts. Turns out it's both!

It’s refreshing to see this piece resonate with audience in Kenya. It was first published by Play The Game and here it is on Nairobi Law Monthly Review. In the ongoing AFCON qualifiers Kenya has spent the equivalent of €153,307! They didn’t qualify. Most of the blame will go to the government yet

Same day Omtatah posted this, there was a barrage of misinformation about Bill Gates. All being peddled by same users who, soon as Trump won, pushed a hashtag against US Ambassador Meg Whitman who resigned yesterday.

I established a pattern of influential X users. It started with a lawmaker who insidiously posted this. While it’s true, it is standard practice for such organisations to be granted immunity. Given the status of this lawmaker, I suspect he knew what he was doing.
