We have Nazis in top levels of government, we’re leaving the WHO, dismantling DEI, pulling out of the Paris climate agreements (again), ignoring all science and history…and this is but the beginning. I’m so afraid for and embarrassed by my country right now 😭

Well thank goodness we got right to the important matters and have only two genders and will rename the Gulf of Mexico. JFC 🤦🏻♀️😭🤬. I have never identified more with my favorite fictional pirate who is full of rage against homophobia, imperialism, racism, and unchecked capitalism. #getmeoutofhere

2024 marked my 1st time being out in a public, professional capacity at a national conference and it’s in large part inspired by stories and fandoms like #blacksails and #startrek. It felt amazing and freeing. Stories have power, art is essential, and #representationmatters 🏳️🌈
