GW Bush scheiterte in der 2. Amtszeit mit seiner überfälligen Immigrationsreform and den rechten "No amnesty!"-Hardlinern in seiner Partei. Und das Vorhaben war nicht neu.

Jetzt sind bald 20 WEITERE Jahre vergangen und das Immigration and Nationality Act ist nach wie vor unverändert. 1/2

Germany had a consensus process wherein the majority coalition (right now CDU + SPD) would agree on 3 court nominees at once (2 CDU, 1 SPD). That way the court would retain somewhat of a balance. Well, the SPD nominee was borked so there was no vote on the 3 at all.

I think the story is: Use your home solar for your AC, a car and charge a battery. The utilities have plenty of power when the sun is shining.

Wie ging das aus? Denon zeigte einem auf, wie man vtuner gegen Entgelt weiter benutzen kann. T + A aus Deutschland bastelten an einer technischen Lösung, die letztendlich kostenlos ist, aber mit etwas Aufwand installiert werden muss. Für mein Gerät von Musical Fidelity von 2011: keine Lösung. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Erinnert etwas an die Änderungen bei vtuner. Plötzlich konnte man mit älteren Geräten kein Internet-Radio mehr empfangen. Was war passiert? Der ehemals kostenlose Dienst wurde weiterverkauft und stellte dann auf ein Abo-Modell um.

It's a bit mean. In German, these (to and too) are completely different words ("nach" and "zu"). You will rarely see me with too/to, there/their or your/you're MAGA mistakes.

We have "das" vs. "dass" for that.
I have one phone that (das) is for work.
I think that (dass) it is raining.
