That sounds wonderful! There are a couple Little Free Libraries near me that focus on children’s books. I’d love to share them! 😊

The Toy is such a beautiful and inspiring magazine. I hope there is a way to keep it alive and well while keeping it financially/emotionally sustainable for yourselves. I think writers will be grateful and thrilled with digital copies. Thank you for being such a light in the kidlit community!

I love that advice! I’m sure we do better what we actually enjoy doing. And that way we don’t get burnt out too! 😅😊

I don’t really have any spooky art but here’s a little Frankenstein smelling a rose from a KidLit poem I illustrated.

This chat has been so fun—thank you again for hosting! #KidLitArt

Really cool use of the gold leaf to create that kind of halo effect! This piece feels so lush and beautifully textured…and also dangerous! 🍄😂 #KidLitArt

Love how you created such a dynamic scene with the shadows, the portraits, and all the eyes pointing at different details. It really keeps my eye moving all over the image! #KidLitArt

Sooo fun! And I love the glimpse of the scene outside 🐶🐶🐶😂 #KidLitArt

I love how there are so many places to look in this scene! The flashlight area, the eyes above, the kid’s (worried) expression. So many great details! #KidLitArt

Such a beautiful piece! I love the textured swirls, the cascading crows/ravens, and the intricate twists of the branches. It feels so mesmerizing. #KidLitArt
