The shoes on the lower right are made from corrected grain leather.

But the others are full grain, which brings us to the second dimension of leather quality: how leather is cut.
Four pairs of brown loafers are sitting on top of a rug. The first pair is relatively matte; the second pair is also matte, but has uneven wrinkling; the third part is relatively matte; the fourth pair is very shiny. The fourth pair is corrected grain, so it has a plasticky looking finish.
