I’m referring to the way that our information environment shapes beliefs and actions.

It’s plausible something happened that tipped him over the edge—22 can be a pretty turbulent age—but I don’t think it’s necessary. I’m skeptical of the urge to let him off the hook with ‘something bad happened’

While I hope you’re right about it only being a loyalty test, Trump doesn’t seem like he’d be sad about harming the NATO alliance, and we know it would make Putin happy. Why do you think it’s infeasible?
