Yes. The federal minimum wage should be increased. But because it hasn’t been increased for so long it has become meaningless. As evidenced by the fact that less than 1% of workers make the federal minimum. What don’t you understand?

This article is from 2014. I’m sure it was true then. But I can’t see how it’s true now that wages blown past the federal minimum. The wage compression of the 2020s was intense. State min wages would still apply to that study. By the federal minimum wage wage is meaningless now
