Was looking at Susie's collection of atari games and why does this one look exactly like a supermarket own brand jaffa cake

The most important element in the art of putting pins on a bag is making sure everyone who sees you knows instinctively that you give the most rancid head on the planet

watching the scott the woz video about movies on game consoles and I'm lowkey mad as hell that the goddamn hd-dvd version of 05 wonka has my favourite cover. Like it's the same cover art as the blu ray version but the red case is just *sooooooo* much more complimentary

20 Small Mazes (2024)

Fleb is not only an incredibly creative puzzle designer but an incredibly creative UI designer. A smaller scope and less high concept than Strange Jigsaws, but understandably so. I'll have to keep an eye on this dude's games in the future.

Strange Jigsaws (2025)

Saw a post saying to play this immediately without looking anything up, did so, and did the whole thing in about three hours. Such a delightful little game. Endlessly creative and it only started to verge on frustrating once or twice.

Ralph Fiennes' defense of JK Rowling was always really funny to me in particular because it sounds exactly like something his character in The Grand Budapest Hotel would say before he has any of his character development

Room 237 (2012)

yes it's shakily narrated by people who appear to be talking purely from memory
yes the ideas themselves are flimsy at best and colossal reaches at worst
yes it is structured with ideas randomly coming and going and building to nothing
but consider: it's also edited like ass

On the night when all manner of horrors from man's imagination come out to show us why we ought to be afraid, one nightmare finds himself alone with someone altogether more freakish than he could ever be.

House (1977)

I watched this like a week ago and forgot to put it in here until now whoopsie. More movies need to treat the editing booth like they're playing tuoys.

Sugar Hill (1974)

Wasn't that into this one, which is a shame cause there's a ton to like. There's some quite creative shots, the use of shadow is really nice, Samedi's a ton of fun to watch and those zombies look *so* cool, but right when it had me it'd always lose me again.
