Yeah, OK. Why are they assuming that everyone uses DoorDash and that those are adequate numbers? I don’t feel like spending an additional five or $10 on food delivery or whatever it is.

And I am also inclined to think that Melania was given to or bought by Trump. And who’s to say that even passed wives were the same situation. Knowing Trump’s personality, makes me believe that it’s possible that he has to buy his wives.

Understood FAA workers wrkg w/o pay was not sustainable. People were trying to help them by delivering food. I would rather the airlines step in and canx flights to support these people that can't do it all. Yes,prgrms blocked. Better 2 keep going or start over? Ways to cope was building up.

I always do what I can to pay the house first. If I need help with food, I go to my local "buy nothing" group and food bank. NFCU, chase, Wells Fargo, Pay Pal, Auto Lenders, USAA, U. S. Bank, Capital One... And more offered different ways that could people. Low interest loans, waiving overdraft fees

The idea that flights/holiday travel is more important than the nation's strength that was increasing and the pressure was building in our fight against the authoritarianism is very disappointing. We were breaking thru Trump's ego. People came together to help feed each other. They threw that away.

Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays and gift giving and seeing family, to me seems so trivial in comparison to what our country is going through with regards to authoritarianism. This was a fight we needed to continue fighting.

There have been people helping with food. Financial institutions helping. What is supposed to happen 1/30? We start the whole thing all over again. Next shut down, everyone has to sweat it out for more than 41 days. It will have to go much longer because The precedent has been set.

I hate that promise. "We'll remember it next year"... It never seems to work. We never seem to remember. There's always a distraction somewhere.

The pressure was building. I'm tired of people talking about Thanksgiving with families and being able to fly places. Our country is overprivileged and knows nothing about fighting. Yes, I'd be sad to miss Thanksgiving with my family, but the state of our nation is more important. Do not cave!

What you do is you reach out to the local supporters and get them in touch with these families. There are people out there to help. There are many people out there right now helping each other out supporting each other. I feel many of our nations people And businesses are coming together

Only it won't be right back here again. Giving in is only going to give him more ground. 41 days we've been fighting. 41 days holding out. We are bandaging our wounds. We are not bleeding out. We are still alive.And to expect to do this again in the future? Torture the country a second time?

Can’t the Democrats still vote against the Republicans since they haven’t actually voted yet? They are setting a precedent that will make all of this fight a waste. If they vote with the Republicans, it will make Trump stronger and harder to fight. My 24-yo is giving up on life and is afraid

No. You can still change your mind. Do not vote w/repubs.. hold your ground. Trump's reelection told him that the U.S. citizens are foolish. He abused us the first time and yet we allowed him on the ballot again. Breaking from standoff sets new precedent.We are supporting each other. Hold the line.

Agreed. That's part of how we got into this situation. Trump should never been elected the second time. Because he learned that that this country was stupid enough to reelect him even after his abuse. So now he knew he could do whatever he wants.

Right now we actually have some teeth. And giving in is only setting a precedent. If there is a next time, how much time more do we have to be shut down? It just makes it worse and worse for our citizens. Do they not see this?
