So I know a lot of people love using these public domain OC's in fanfics but how many of these characters (or even interpretations of canon characters like Sheffield, Alfred and so on) actually need to be canon?

One small thing I had to note, how they gave consists to the engines that fit their capacity. Not just these twins and Gordon getting proper long expresses but Percy typically pulling this many vans at a time.

Gretel's massive smile that creeped fans out initially really fit her character then. Excitable, easily distracted, only saw the fun side of crime fighting, but as she was given some challenges to test her quick thinking-

If so, how accurate was this episode? Kinda felt you'd have to make some allowances since it's steam engines practicing it but otherwise...

Was there ever fanfics that explored Toby having this little friend group? Something that stood out about 'Toby's Afternoon Off' since the age of 9 was establishing that Thomas, Mavis and Salty were Toby's friends.
