One fun element of elseworld stories is the conclusions you can draw based on the counterfactuals of mainline continuity. For example, I can conclude that the capacity for evil was within Absolute Hal Jordan all along based on the fact his prime earth counterpart is a conservative.

The art overall is next level through Absolute DC. The two standout aesthetics for me so far though: the mind bending fluidity of MM and the kinetic precision of Flash. They couldn’t be any more different from one another, but both are absolutely stunning.

2. When they’re not trying to tear each other apart on the streets, Daredevil and Elektra tearing it up under the sheets. The atmosphere is electric whenever these two get together, but their crackling energy has a habit of burning out and giving way to an undercurrent of melancholy.

3. Partners in law, but destined to be no more. Not even a lawyer as formidable as Foggy Nelson could sustain an objection against the charge of pining, but will the sentence be life in horny jail? The jury’s still out on this one.
