Relating back to hats for a moment, I did reach out to the hatted professor, and he said there was a hat book in the works. I'm not sure how long it'll take; but when it does come out, I'd be the first one in line to buy it.

Now that you mention it, it does make sense. Is that why there isn't as much of a collective style as there was in the past? Sure, there are some trends that permeate corners of the internet that might make it out there into the general public, but generally speaking, it seems much more varied.

It just makes me aware of how niche hat related stuff is nowadays, despite how much growth the business has gotten in recent years. Most of the information I've gleamed was written decades ago, or is buried in 20 year old forum posts.
