Only two people have gone to jail for tax resistance since WWII. One in 1949 and the other in 2005. Only about 50 out of tens of thousands of people in the U.S. who have resisted war taxes have even been brought to federal court and convicted on issues related to their war tax resistance.

This is correct. You would have your employer stop deducting any income tax from your paycheck. During filing time, then you can resist by not paying some/all of what's owed. Important to still file, though - otherwise, it's evasion.
