Just before the goal I was thinking I'm fine with a draw, even though we had the momentum, as long as we don't lose to the scum. I can't stand losing to this lot. Devastated. Please another goal!

Hoping to see a few subs soon, Ekitike, Wirtz & Chiesa, maybe even Frimpong, hopefully it can change our fortunes. We haven't played well but also been unlucky, and Oliver has been dreadful.

Not a great half tbh, some rusty performances while Southampton looked solid and made it difficult for us and should have scored. But great pressing+assist from Chiesa and nice finish from Isak. Chiesa IMO grew into one of the best players of the first half. Debutants Mama and Leoni looked solid!

Liked how Wirtz & Isak linked up, and how quickly Isak got shots off. Salah looks a lot sharper than previous games. Gravy is a beast! We will get better as the players gel, but some glimmers of what will come.

Hope VVD is ok after that challenge. Didn’t see it coming and had his foot planted. Looked to be limping a bit afterwards. Think Leoni might get his debut - either to replace Konate on a yellow or if VVD is genuinely hurt. Fingers crossed it’s nothing 🤞
