Checked out this band after hearing the venue was in danger of closing. Glad I did as I was really impressed. Nice guys too.

Last week I heard the band Deep Sea Diver. I'm late to the party as they are about to drop their 4th album. Hopefully they'll tour the UK as I'm looking forward to hearing more from them

Yesterday in the office I dropped a fart that was so grotesque maintenance were called up to the floor to see if they could find where the awful smell was coming from. I feel strangely proud.

Howl by She Drew The Gun probably hasn't featured in any end of year album polls due to the fact it was released after most polls were published. It's well worth a mention though. Mirrors is one of my fave new songs this year.

I don't really get why this band hasn't made it big yet. 3 really good albums now. Yet when this came out this year it took me forever to get hold of a physical copy.

When I heard track 1 of Skating Polly's 6th album My reaction was WTF is this shit? However I'm glad I stayed to listen to the rest as its a great celebration of garage, punk, alt rock.

There was very little promotion when this album came out I think it was a big step from their debut and deserved more plaudits than the last Blur album.
