It sounds to us as though some of the staff, i.e. UniteLE127, are advocating taking UCU away from UCU members. Democracy, eh! It’s a funny old thing, particularly in the world of sixth form revolutionary politics.

Roll up ladies and gentlemen! Your negotiators, yet again, need you to bail them out of a mess that they've created! Standby for all out indefinite action! It’s all they have left. Time to talk to your bank about rearranging your DDs and maybe taking a mortgage payment holiday for a few months!

🤔 Unsafe levels of work-related stress? The results of a highly-skewed survey written to deliver a particular result doesn’t really count as solid evidence of stressful working conditions.

🤔 Imposing a return to office working? Hardly, staff have been made aware for the past 3 years that a return to office working would eventually happen.
🤔Breaching agreed procedures? Not really, there’s just no real point in negotiating with bad faith actors.

🤔 Targeting your reps? Hardly. Some of your reps are bad faith actors who are deliberately trying to bring UCU into disrepute.
🤔Refusing to talk? What is the point? You keep moving the goalposts.

This dispute was over last year. You lost. You just don’t know how to tell your members how badly you messed this dispute up do you? The employer barely engages with you because you are not serious people. #UniteUCU #UniteLE127 #ReclaimUCU

There’s only two UCU employees in this photo. What happened to the ‘well supported action’. Starting to look like propergander

There’s literally only two people in this photo who work in the UCU north west regional office. Amongst your own Unite LE127 members this not a widely supported action.

Unsurprisingly you’re choosing not to mention that it was only yesterday that you had to circulate an apology for a defamatory email that you sent to Unite members in March. Is it any wonder the employer is concerned about the out of office replies some of your officers have been putting up?

At Tuesday’s Unite branch meeting there were 102 Unite members in the meeting. Only 53 voted to proceed with the action. No managers were involved.Your majorities are paper thin.

At the Unite branch meeting on Tuesday only 53 people voted in favour of proceeding with this action. UCU has over 200 staff. This action is not widely supported
