I almost cried today when End of the Line started playing in the car.

And yes, marriage a couple of years after retiring was a really good decision.
I wrote this over the last couple of days. Maybe I should have called it Independence Day.

I’ve always thought Harry’s motto was a corollary of ‘a jury to one is an injury to all.’

I think I have t-shirts that say both.

A poem by Wole Soyinka, Nigerian Nobel Prize winner.

The poem that keeps coming to my mind is Yeats’ The Second Coming, but I wanted to read something that had no connection to what’s upsetting me each day.
I love reading Soyinka’s work.

This girl makes me happy.

I realized I have been getting anxious with one thing after another from the Trump /Musk administration. I decided to post pictures of art or other things that make me calm or happy when I feel that way. (So no photos of my awesome dentist.)
