Hard agree, working on personal projects and merging my own code without anyone else looking at it feels wrong.

It’s kind of shocking to hear the lack of support for Unicode in LLMs, given the fact that it’s been a de facto standard for a while now.

It’s interesting that a lot of this is suburban homes, as pointed out by your alt text. It seems like that wouldn’t support the number of people that they’d want for the Stanford torus. I wonder what a mockup today would look like.

And I’m sure you will, but don’t you want to try to build up something? Something that, when you hop online to kill some time, isn’t quite so fleeting and is maybe more rewarding?

Maybe, but I don’t think we agree on the why. You mentioned you started doing this because you felt like your beliefs were being strawmanned and you were being insulted, right? Isn’t this just doing the same thing? Isn’t this feeding into one big hate spiral?

To get down to it, are you going to feel any better tomorrow about the trolling you did today? I’d guess probably not. Maybe some fun for the evening, but, like, is it something lasting? Like you said, this app isn’t real life. Why waste time on it if it’s going to be so fleeting?
