Made a quick late night dal. Red lentils with curry powder, salt, cumin, and black pepper, plus a few cherry tomatoes and a squeeze of lime juice. Didn’t want to waste the rest of the lime, so squeezed it into a glass with honey and water.

I hired a woodworker to custom-make me a table from a big slab of padauk I bought from an exotic wood dealer and it's one of the smartest things I ever did.

I made jalapeño popper inspired stuffed jalapeños. I roasted the bare halves at 400F for twelve minutes, then filled them with shredded cheese and put them back in at 380F for six minutes.
