The Tús Programme offers 12-month community work placements for people unemployed 12+ months and on Jobseeker’s Allowance. In South Tipperary, it is managed by STDC, providing 19.5-hour roles in environmental, caring, and educational services with a top-up payment. More info on stdc.ie

The Christmas Wreath Workshop at Elm Tree Community Centre brought everyone together for a joyful morning of creativity. Participants made festive wreaths from fresh foliage, shared ideas, and enjoyed lively conversation.

An inspiring community gathering at Cabragh Wetlands wrapped up National Climate Action Week, featuring wellness stories, biodiversity, toy libraries, and circular living. Conversations on Just Transition, nature walk, and local sustainability stands made it a fitting finale. Thanks to all involved!

As part of Climate Action Week, we hosted an Energy Saving Workshop with the Ballylynch Woman's Group in Carrick-on-Suir, featuring Ecovision's "90 Practical Tips for Saving Energy at Home." Thanks to everybody involved.
