Artwork by St. Cosmo, 2025. A digital collage based on Manet's "Le Déjeuner sur l'herbe" painting from the 19th century. The background used is a 1970s interior decoration photo with groovy furniture and a conversation pit. The shag carpet of the pit is cut out and replaced with painted grass. All the human figures are taken from pulp novel covers or giallo film posters. On the left are the legs of a deceased man in suit pants and dress shoes, surrounded by shocked men in sci-fi space suits. Front cover for Naked Lunch. The book's color is a mid-century mustard yellow. Typeface the title is ultra-thin and narrow and tall and burgundy-ish maroon. The author's name's typography matches the title's but the author's name is in white. There is black linework in thin strokes and 90 degree angles. Same cover but on its side showing its spine. Same book but butterflied open with its back, spine, and cover facing the viewer. On the back cover are review blurbs, a boom description, and price and publisher info.
