Today I said goodbye to my boy Vaughn Nooper. He loved everyone he ever met and was every single thing a dog is meant to be. He will be missed more deeply than words go.

He was quite pleased with this and slept in his usual spots- either taking all of my leg space, my wife's leg space, or trying to squeeze his entire body between the two of us.

I took my practical exams tonight and came home to a card and pint of special ice cream, my partner so excited to celebrate with me. My life feels so surreal sometimes and I love it so so much.

Vaughn is terrified of being under the influence- makes him tremble and cry when he's on pain or anxiety meds which is obviously heart shattering esp knowing his hips and joints are painful.
Recently my wife got him CBD chews to try. They make him feel so much better that he smiles 😁

These were littered in several towns across north central Indiana. All the people in the comments had the audacity to be soooo surprised that this could be happening in their White Upper Middle Class cities as if half of them didn't directly vote for EXACTLY this. #racism #magavalues
