considering that mods are essentially *dependent* on Minecraft and the fact that time by itself is NOT a good informative to include with version numbers, this will just cause the opposite effect of Mojang's expectations.

I mean there's not much I can go against here... game prices barely have changed in respect to inflation and market changes in the past 2 decades
