This speaks volumes. Especially this year when I felt like we were so close. I had every scenario in my head as to how I was going to surprise my family this Christmas...all for it to not be real. I'm not giving up. But this Christmas really fucking hurts.

I have a deep appreciation for people with diabetes or any other condition where you have to give yourself a shot. I only had to do it one time today, and I was nervous as hell. I can't imagine doing that every day. You're true heroes.
