Busy EU weeks preparing for the new 🇺🇳 UN Security Council.

🇪🇺 EU Ambassadors held exchanges with the Perm Reps of 🇵🇰 Pakistan, 🇵🇦 Panama & 🇸🇴 Somalia, to hear their priorities for their 2-year term and to discuss how to strengthen the UN’s work and our collaboration on peace & security.

They negotiated and built vital compromises, up to the closing hours of Christmas Eve (!), to ensure that the UN would have its budget. 👏💪
