You know if Duran is going to be traded I think the dodgers Emmet Sheehan is going to be the one that does it. Huge, excellent fastball shape, extension, plus Changeup, second year back from TJ……he is breslow’s dream pitcher.

The free agent market next year looks pretty bad in my opinion..I think bichette is kinda a must at this point. Which sucks cuz your gonna have to really overpay to steal him from Toronto.

I disagree here. I don’t think Vance believes in anything he says. That’s what makes him dangerous to me. He's like the smartass kid in class who loved to play devil’s advocate, but grew up and decided that it was a good job to have.

Honestly I look at this chart and the Fenway/rh hitter chart and Valdez keeps popping up as maybe the best option. am I reading them right?

I mean you could arrest someone yourself if you wanted to. The warrant is to keep them after they are detained. Anyone who they detain and want to continue detaining requires an admin arrest warrant. Which they get after the fact during the processing. Im not saying don’t get upset but he’s right.

I know the swings are different but this reminds of the adjustment the mlb made on Bogaerts after he first came up. Nothing but fastballs on the hands and sliders away. I feel like Bogaerts adjusted by being on the plate and hooking sliders over the monster. Wonder how they are having Camp adjust?

Phillies need a closer and center fielder. Dombrowski needs to push this team over the edge for a ws. Painter would be my target. If Duran continues to pick it up and Chapman continues to dazzle, I feel like it’s enough.

I think from what you posted previously putting Roman in for Rafaela seems reasonable. But for Marcelo… are we just waiting for an injury as 3b, Ss, and 2b seem to being doing well at the major league level?

All in all given the skyrocketing price of pitching, thought the haul was reasonably fair.

I wonder if moving Mayer is in the cards. And the red Sox are looking at Adames to play 2nd base for a season. Then move him to shortstop if/when Story opts out. I don’t think Roman or Campbell are being moved and catching is such a need. Or you could just buy 2 pitchers.
