I honestly can't fathom how people who we pay to think about this kind of stuff aren't jumping at the opportunity to lay-off everyone so bots can send each other bullet-point lists by email. It's a pair-a-ducks!

Obviously this "isn't real" and it's "just a simple example", but wouldn't you want these people to be able to recognize the most basic statistical concepts well enough to not post total nonsense on their own website?

This is literally their use case for scientific research they use to advertise the service. There is no confidence interval in sight.

This paper is the poster child for potential value for pre-reg, and my world is full of studies like this. So I don't think every study needs pre-reg or that wide adoption would solve all problems, but if I was an editor where studies like this was common, I'd insist on it
