#BlueJays are on pace to become only the 5th team in the last 40 years to lead MLB in both overall batting average & batting average with runners in scoring position.
September 23, 2025 at 2:20 PM
#BlueJays Shane Bieber is quite familiar with the Royals from his AL Central days with the Guardians. He boasts an ERA of 1.88 vs Kansas City in 10 starts since 2020. Bieber has struck out 11.46 Royals per 9 IP since 2020, the highest mark in MLB (minimum 30 IP).
September 20, 2025 at 5:01 PM
Despite yesterday's 19-run loss, #BlueJays have outscored their opponents by 8 runs in September. It would be their fifth month in a row with a positive run margin, tied for the 2nd-longest active streak in MLB. They have a +98 run diff since the start of May, the best mark in the AL.
September 20, 2025 at 4:58 PM
Including a 20-1 drubbing in yesterday, Kansas City has gotten the better of #BlueJays lately, winning 8 of the last 11 meetings since the start of last season—good for the Royals' 2nd-best record vs any AL team since then. Toronto went 11-3 (.786) against Kansas City from 2022 to 2023.

#BlueJays Trey Yesavage is expected to make his MLB debut on Monday. He enters boasting the highest K rate (14.7%) in
the minors this season (min. 20 starts).

Yesavage is poised to become the 37th different pitcher the Blue Jays have utilized in 2025. That would be their 3rd-highest total ever.
September 15, 2025 at 6:17 PM
#BlueJays George Springer clubbed his 29th home run of the season on Sunday, which is an unusually high total for a
player who also has stolen at least 15 bases without getting caught once.
September 15, 2025 at 6:11 PM
#BlueJays Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has absolutely feasted on Rays pitching over the past five seasons (2021-25), leading all opposition hitters with HR (16), RBI (43), XBH (32) & total bases (45). Guerrero has also collected 20 multi-hit games against TB, tied with teammate Bo Bichette.
September 15, 2025 at 6:10 PM
Not only do the #BlueJays own the best batting average differential in the majors this season (+.031), it's their best
differential ever.
September 15, 2025 at 6:04 PM
#BlueJays have never before hit as well after the All-Star break as they have this season (.290). Their batting
average in the second half is even higher with runners in scoring position (.314).
September 15, 2025 at 6:03 PM
#BlueJays Vladimir Guerrero Jr. enters tonight's action on a 7-game heater, going 15-for-29 (.517) with a blistering 1.403 OPS. But the Astros have held him in check going back into 2023. Over his last his 12 games vs Houston, Vladdy is batting .159 (7-for-44) with 0 HR, 0 RBI & 11 K.
September 9, 2025 at 10:21 PM
#BlueJays have tallied at least three extra-base hits in each of its last 7 games, the longest active streak in MLB. Toronto's current streak is tied for its longest of 2025 (also had 7 straight with 3+ XBH from July 23-29).

#Chiefs & #Bills going to open 0-1?!?!? Betters must be having kitten!!
September 8, 2025 at 1:14 AM
If #BlueJays hope to make a deep run, with a first round bye the first attainable prize, the rotation needs to find 5 more outs per start. The 5.1 innings they averaged on the road trip is starting to fray their bullpen around the edges.
August 11, 2025 at 10:15 PM
#BlueJays return home from a more-good-than-bad, 4 & 2 road trip. Now, the Cubs in a packed full Rogers Centre. This is how officially fun, right fans?

Been sitting in the TV booth since 1993. Been a fully vested #BlueJays fan since I was 14. Bearing witness to a pad-your-stats, Mile High beatdown warmed my old heart for the first time since I don't know when. And now, my old friend Buck Martinez returns to action. Enjoy this all, eh! #Toronto
August 7, 2025 at 2:22 AM
Eric Lauer has allowed no more than 3 runs in all 11 of his starts this season. It's one of the longest season opening streaks by any #BlueJays starter all-time (Jimmy Key, 17 in 1991 & Alek Manoah, 12 in 2022).
August 4, 2025 at 8:00 PM
The Royals (18.6%) & #BlueJays (17.4%) lineups have done a better job of limiting strikeouts than any teams in MLB this season. And these are two of the four teams with a 100+ K differential (pitching vs hitting): TOR (+255), KC (+134)
August 1, 2025 at 8:23 PM
The Royals have a 73.3% contact rate vs splitters in 2025, the best in MLB. That will be put to the test against #BlueJays Kevin Gausman, who has thrown the most splits (749) in the majors & has one of the highest average spin rates (1,748) using that pitch, .167 Opp Avg & 39.8% whiff rate.
August 1, 2025 at 8:18 PM
8 players have put 120+ balls in play with an exit velo of at least 100 mph this season, and three of the eight will be featured in this weekend series in Toronto: Vladimir Guerrero Jr (134), Bobby Witt Jr (124) & Bo Bichette (121) #BlueJays
August 1, 2025 at 8:06 PM
#BlueJays acquired Ty France at the trade deadline just in time for their series vs the Royals, against whom he holds the 2nd-highest all-time batting average (.392) among players with 100+ career AB against them. In 2025, France is 9-for-27 (.333) with 3 HR & 8 RBI vs KC.
August 1, 2025 at 8:01 PM
Baseball is a funny game. In his previous start at Rogers Centre before tonight, future first-ballot Hall-of-Famer Justin Verlander threw a no-hitter vs #BlueJays. Tonight, 6 years later he gave up 9 hits to the 18 batters he faced before getting hooked.
