If #BlueJays hope to make a deep run, with a first round bye the first attainable prize, the rotation needs to find 5 more outs per start. The 5.1 innings they averaged on the road trip is starting to fray their bullpen around the edges.

Been sitting in the TV booth since 1993. Been a fully vested #BlueJays fan since I was 14. Bearing witness to a pad-your-stats, Mile High beatdown warmed my old heart for the first time since I don't know when. And now, my old friend Buck Martinez returns to action. Enjoy this all, eh! #Toronto

Eric Lauer has allowed no more than 3 runs in all 11 of his starts this season. It's one of the longest season opening streaks by any #BlueJays starter all-time (Jimmy Key, 17 in 1991 & Alek Manoah, 12 in 2022).
