Nonagon Infinity was a CRAZY album. Robot Stop and Gamma Knife go SO fucking hard.

That's all kinds of frustrating, but people on the outside of self-proclaimed "weird" assuming the worst about it isn't anything new. I'm sure conservatives hear that slogan about Portland and assume the worst lmao.

That said, I don't think OG beats out Fishing for Fishies on the whole.

Sometimes you talk to a person, ask them what their fursona would be, and they have an answer. Other times they can't think of anything and don't want to, and honestly, that's fine lol. Sanding off the edges generally won't change how those folks feel about it, it just welcomes in advertisers.

That said, it's good to familiarize yourself with the history of it as a subculture so you can understand why a lot of this puriteen stuff is pointless nonsense. Furry does not have to be kink, but trying to sanitize it, make it more marketable or broadly appealing is a contradiction at its core.

Yeah, I know Marquette is welcoming, at least. Just a lot of memories of folks who were putting up Trump signs in the neighborhoods around me being the same people who romanticized the UP as THE place to get away from "modern craziness" (read: "woke," not white-centric, etc.) and it puts me on edge.

It's been ages since I've been to the UP, but idk if it'd be safe for me anymore :c
