i spent at least 5 minutes fiddling with the cube wondering what i was doing wrong only to give up and google it and learn that i had become victim to a bug lol

with the cube puzzle the game autosaves before you jump down the hole so you can fix it by loading that autosave and seeing if the cube is how it should be

are you running it in dx11 with shadows medium and shaders low because the game still looks good that way and runs way better
