With the current cultural event that has been the #wicked franchise I thought I’d bring up the time that #Yu-Gi-Oh decided to cross #StarWars with the Oz universe!

Finally cracked my X-Wing core set!
Hoping to convince the better half to play the learning scenario tomorrow 😁
I’ve watched a lot of how to play videos but I’ll only be doing 1.0 to start with.
I won’t be entering any tournaments and stuff so if 2.0 is too much I’ll just stick with 1.0 😅

Finally cracked my X-Wing core set!
Hoping to convince the better half to play the learning scenario tomorrow 😁
I’ve watched a lot of how to play videos but I’ll only be doing 1.0 to start with.

2 bottles of super glue, a pair of sprue cutters and 100 unit minis plus 4 vehicles later. And the vast majority of my #StarWars #Legion backlog is built.
Still a few left to do like Speeder bikes and Droideka’s but I think that’s enough for now 😅

So small rant…
But AMG doesn’t print instructions anymore, but stil includes a big assed piece of paper in the expansion anyway.
But to top it off the QR code doesn’t even work anymore.
I get that it’s an old set, and it’s easy to build.
But FFG wasn’t this sloppy 😒

Finished putting these together some more #StarWars #Legion mini’s this afternoon. I was not expecting them to be as large as they are so I had to clear out some shelves to make room for them.
Some really damn good detail though.
They will be painted one day, but that’s for future me to do 😅

Spent yesterday and today painting and assembling #StarWars #Armada & #Legion minis!
It’s been a hot minute but things behind the scenes have stabilised on the most part so I’ve been able to start catching up 😁
Still a while to go but it’s nice to be able to get back into it! ✌️😁✌️

8 years ago I began my miniature painting journey. It had been around 15 years since I had previously even held a paintbrush (early high school). But yet I wanted to give it a go, I’ve added photos left to right of my painting skills advancing over these years. I think things have defs improved 😂

That’s a really good idea, I should look into one of those! Not a lot of dust gets in most of the time but there’s still a tiny bit.
And we haven’t had a Koto kit for the deathy get announced just yet. It will be massive and have a butt load of pieces though 😅
But the AZ TOMY one was good

Yeah I’ve got a bit of a mixed collection, I used to have a lot more pure TOMY but I’ve been adding a lot more Koto Kits these days.

I loved the Prequel trilogy when it was “unpopular” to do so, and I unapologetically love the Sequel trilogy now.
I love it so much that I’ve amassed 2 fleets worth of custom mini’s to reflect that.

And some extra upgrade cards that my little playgroup regularly uses now that we’re in the “print and play” era 😁

He’s very fun to play, I had aloooooot of fun using him.
We’ve only got him, Kylo and Snoke at the moment but I believe that we will be getting more sequel content soon and this is just a wave 1 sorta thing but I’ll give you a little taste of the content 😁

So you do have to do a bit of searching to add the sequel trilogy content
But I’ll put up a screen shot of what I have enabled to get the factions to show up :)
You just click the drop box and it gives you the options to pick.

Well I didn’t get quite as many games in as I planned, printing/cutting out/sleeving all the new content took longer than I thought.
But I managed to get in a single game with my better half 😄
Ended up having Hux vs Leia

Finished the desert terrain board for some #StarWars #Legion games
Took a few extra coats of sealant on the sand, and then a bit more paint to bring it up to the colour I wanted it, but it’s done!
Have intentionally kept the field a bit empty to allow for different configurations of terrain pieces
