Hey Pablo, what are you guys doing over there? This franchise is so cooked. Complete and utter catastrophe Hahahahaha🤣
January 8, 2026 at 5:58 AM
lol that’s quite the team you guys have put together. I wonder how many of them I could easily defeat in a basic Star Wars trivia contest. I wonder if many of those people were even fans when they were kids or were they just hired to fulfill Kathy’s social goals.

Or was it Kiri Hart who was fired years ago. There’s nobody else left. Lucasfilm is a clown show.

Directors come and go…Kathy is running the financial role of Lucasfilm and is responsible for acquiring talent to take over projects. Kathy green lights projects and reacts ones that she doesn’t believe in. After that you have Dave who is the creative head, who’s his #2 then…Matt Martin🤣🤣🥲

Yes, Rey can interact with 1 character. The once kind and helpful Rey will be neither of those things. Rey will live with aliens who don’t speak english,. Rey can fish & tell the visitor to leave and teach them absolutely nothing. At the end of the movie she can appear as a projection & die. The end
January 8, 2026 at 4:46 AM
Well I hope they do the same exact thing with Rey in 10 years and if you are okay with that then i’ll say that’s fine.
January 8, 2026 at 4:05 AM
So you are disagreeable with George’s audacity to show the audience Anakain as a young boy and how he came to train with Obi Wan, but isolating Luke and preventing him from interact with a single character after trashing everything he knew and loved is perfectly fine. It makes no sense.
January 8, 2026 at 4:03 AM
But as nice as this conversation is, Pablo Hidalgo continues to retain his fancy executive role where nothing is accomplished aside from the assassination of legendary characters he know is responsible for presiding over. We are probably both far more passionate about this franchise than he is.
January 8, 2026 at 3:54 AM
Nobody has ever seen any evidence of that and all that we know for sure is that his outline from the ST was ignored and not used.
January 8, 2026 at 3:51 AM
It shows Anakin from a young age and fills in a significant gap in his story, also George Lucas created Star Wars and those characters…Rian is a hack who can’t make a compelling movie without a ridiculous cast of A list actors.
January 8, 2026 at 3:46 AM
Instead they placed him on one planet and changed virtually everything the audience knew about his on screen character or what they knew from video games or legends books. You can change the character or have them evolve sure, but such a drastic departure of what ppl expected was just horrific.
January 8, 2026 at 3:41 AM
Ya but i’m more concerned about live action. Luke was the Star Wars hero from 1977-1998 and even past that point. Fact of the matter is that we could have had Luke in a Gandlaf role, a Dumbledore role, a Hopper role, a Daniel role from Cobra Kai, even Obi Wan who was at least kind, Hunger Games etc
January 8, 2026 at 3:38 AM
Her hours on tv have already surpassed that of Luke and if you include the Clone Wars, Rebels, and Mando season 2 it’s not remotely close. I used to like Ashoka especially with Ashley Eckstein voicing the character but sometimes you just have to call it’s a spade a spade. Luke>Ashoka it’s a joke.
January 8, 2026 at 3:31 AM
Funny how everyone at Lucasfiim wanted to move on from Luke Skywalker but it’s totally ok if Ashoka gets unlimited seasons. The entire situation is a clown show.
January 8, 2026 at 3:26 AM
No i’m telling you what happened and why Star Wars is a dying brand. I hope that Starfighter is good because I like Shawn Levy but Mando and Grogu will most likely flop. Nobody cares about Ashoka, she’d become the most oversaturated character ever and aside from that there’s no shows left.
January 8, 2026 at 3:22 AM
I still like R1 and TFA, but TLJ (although some people like it) failed because at least 50% of the audience not only disliked it but hates it & many straight up left the fandom after it. Solo failed because of TLJ although it wasn’t bad. Box office returns for the ST diminished over time.

I’m just looking for some answers. Why did JJ have Luke floating rocks and then Rian comes in and says no he has to be grumpy, miserable, rude to Rey, hate the Jedi, and want to die. The team your boss Kathy assembled to write and create the Sequel trilogy failed. It’s so sad.
January 7, 2026 at 11:09 PM
Also weird they Jedi hating luke m went to and Island that honors the Jedi. That is like a priest who hates the Catholic Church & runs away to hide in the Vatican. Why is Jedi hating Luke wearing Jedi robes? Also if Luke was so removed with the force why and how can he just force project himself?

How does it feel to be someone who was involved with making the worst decesion in the history of cinema. But i’m sure that the “lore guru” had absolutely nothing to do with this.
January 7, 2026 at 10:45 PM
George Lucas was solely responsible for creating the Prequel Trilogy. He even allocated his own personal funds to produce the films & was stretched thin with the team he worked with. The budgets that Lucasfilm have had since 2015 are some of the biggest in the industry. There’s been no shortage of $

Glad you guys think this is a joke. I don’t think it is.

I remember what Star Wars Celebration 2017 was like, it was awesome…there’s not much to be excited about anymore…
December 12, 2025 at 2:35 AM
I’m telling you what should have been done, this isn’t rocket science. You literally had the BIGGEST IP in the world…and have almost destroyed it.
December 12, 2025 at 2:29 AM
Ya i’m wrong. The hotel closed in a year and had no lucas content and it’s a compete failure…but i’m wrong.

If me or any other legitimate fan was in charge with a creative team behind these simile and common sense ideas it wouid still be standing.
December 12, 2025 at 2:28 AM
It’s just common sense there’s an old phrase…if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it..you tried to reinvent the wheel and introduce a bunch of characters nobody knew and then when it closes you just blame the 6,000 a night price point which was also horrendous. Just keep it simple and honor Lucas Star Wars
