Yeah I love how if you get to the first ending you're like "yeah that's a silent hill ending for sure" but if you keep going Ryukishi07 is like "I'm going to make you rethink the concept of silent hill completely"

Like yes you do have to play through it 4 times to get a full sense of it and it was the right choice because telling that story in one go would be so hard to do intelligibly

It was just so smart to get a VN writer to do a silent hill the genre conventions work so well with the vibe of the franchise
