I say that and then start seeing more complaints about freight elevators both at the ground locations and space stations. Issues include elevators not working and cargo being lost when submitted.

If you can get to them, yes. The landing pads are already filling up at the surface locations, so it might be a tight fit to get to the elevators at the pads.
