2/2 You will need to align the pieces as shown in the photos.
I've written down roughly how far they need to be spaced to work if you bought one at MAGfest. Unfortunately it won't be a desktop standee, but works well as a shelf edge display!

1/2 - OKAY so I know it's been a month, but I finally figured out what's wrong with the bobble heads.
They were printed larger than my original batch and my manu did not test to see if they'd function at the size printed.

However, ❗I HAVE FOUND A FIX❗

Finding that a coin is too heavy to help counter balance the head 😭
Will need to sit and wait until after the CNY holiday to hear back from my manu.
