Absolutely LOVING the new Tales of the Shire video game. (It's apparently been getting some strange negative reviews from people who don't seem to understand what a cozy game is). It does have some performance issues atm, but I'm hopeful they will get them resolved.

#entomology experts - thoughts on what cute lil insect laid these? (Sorry, the screen is dirty - I was intending to clean the door, but this happened, so now it has to wait). They started out a light cream color, and have since darkened. Not sure what to do, as it's not a great place for hatching
Teeny tiny little round eggs laid in clumps along the crosshatching of the outside of a screen door. The eggs were laid in a rough spiral shape, and are a cinnamon brown color.

Chaos gardening continues to go great (meaning, I buy native, drought-resistant plants, clear a space, and plop 'em in, little planning aside from sun/shade). My flax is slowly getting overwhelmed, so I need to buy more and put elsewhere next year. No, I don't remember most names (see chaos, above).
Mix of native plants, climbing red roses (that look fuchsia in this pic) and miniature pink roses and plain ole lawn grass that's grown WAY too high. Includes yellow-petaled coneflowers with the super long, conical heads, other species of yellow-petaled flowers with large, bulbous heads, a wee blue flax flower hiding in the back. These are a native penstemon - really lovely violet color with some white striping on the inner petals and long stamens. Mix of native plants, climbing red roses (that look fuchsia in this pic) and miniature pink roses and plain ole lawn grass that's grown WAY too high. A better view of the species of yellow-petaled flowers with the large, bulbous heads, and the wee blue flax flower can be seen better here.

This is the thingee I'm referring to - though I think the ones they used at my school were maybe slightly smaller? and oval-ish? But maybe I'm confusing it with the smallpox vaccine? UGH, getting old is ridiculous. lol
An apparatus, four to five centimeters in length, with 9 short needles that can be injected into the skin. Two ampoules, one dark amber, the other clear glass, are behind the injection apparatus.

Spent $1,700 on a new washer-dryer last night and I'm so stressed out about it because of the Hall 'O Doom. What, you ask, is the Hall O' Doom? Hopefully these pictures will illustrate.
The Hall 'O Doom looking from my bedroom towards the kitchen. The walls are a gold color, the carpet is a muted green, and there is a ridiculous little angled and narrow "jog" right in the middle of the hallway. Two light scuff marks can be seen on the left side of the angled wall. There are a couple of short shelves holding a candle and knick knacks higher up. Also on the left is a doorknob that goes to the hall linen closet. The Hall 'O Doom viewed from the kitchen towards my bedroom. And now the angled "jog" is even weirder, because the angled wall on the left is only two and three-quarters inches wide. There's a better view of the hallway door. Light scuff marks can also be seen here on the left wall near the start of the angled "wall" if something that is 2 3/4" can be called a wall.

I don't know if you've ever played Fallout 76, but the Mothmen (yes, plural) are super cute. This one below is the one nice Mothman; the rest are not, though they aren't particularly powerful as monsters go. They remain elusive, and you find them perched somewhere at night (it looks cool)

HE is a dark gray, looking semi soot-covered. There is an old farmhouse, partially obscured by his body, in the background, along with some trees in fall foliage.
