Bistro in #CannonBeach #Oregon requires a reservation but serves a truly outstanding pork porterhouse as well as linguine alongside lamb and buffalo stew. Made new friends bc of JJ the hostess with heart. She's married to the great Chef Jack. Their #lovestory brought the Bistro to life. #love

15 years ago on May 10th, I made a miracle happen. It was small enough to go unnoticed, big enough to change the way I see and feel about myself forever. In the moment I was too exhausted and relieved to understand. Looking back I wonder: it was such a hard time how did I not give up? But I didn't.

I don't have answers, not tonight. There's no certainty, not tonight. But the sun knew it's path home tonight. It dropped, as it always does, beyond the mountains beyond the sea. I suspect it will find its way up tomorrow morning. As it always does. So I have yet another day to figure it all out.
