I am of the long-held opinion that scary movies are only scary until they show the monster on screen. I'm more affected by stuff that is psychologically/existentially spoopy than monsters that CGI still can't quite get right.
Xenomorphs, however, are fucking terrifying. That's my one exception.

I tend to forget that we all have free will and can just do things. And so when my fiancée replaced the cushioning in my gaming chair instead of us buying a whole new one, I was pleasantly surprised by how much better it is.

Was thinking last night that kids only survive K12 because they heal easy. People in their 30s subjected to the same conditions wouldn't be able to handle it.

Smol vent: Blanket bans on AI content are dumb. I'm all for rules about tagging such things so it can be easily identified and/or filtered out.
But "It's not allowed at all because we think it's icky" is just arbitrary exclusion of an entire modern form of expression.
