At work today I had that "oh crap" moment where I thought "did I leave the iron on???" And I had to remember that I unplugged it last night and then refused to plug it back in to iron a tiny piece of fabric and just set the rapidly cooling iron on it and hopefully for the best

For the last few months I've been commenting that it's weird that part way through this year my cat has started sniffing my face.
Tonight I realized that she's copying me because after her brother passed I've been sniffing her multiple times a day to make sure she doesn't smell weird suddenly-

Been worried about Alice, she hasn't been really wanting to eat a ton lately, the vet recommended switching her food to one that's slightly better for kidney disease but she didn't really like it, so we switched her wet food back to the one she consistently eats, but it's high in phosphorus.

One of the insoles of my shoes like broke??? They're made of cork so I guess after a year of constant use, 8+ hours a day 5 days a week it was blind to happen
Made a bonus support out of foam at work while I wait for the new insoles to arrive.
At least it's more comfortable now

I have a dentist appointment next week and I forgot that they're doing bridge repairs so I'll have to detour.

Feeling a certain way about the Sakura con artist alley charging $500 for a table. For so long their lottery system was specifically because they wanted all artists to be able to apply regardless of skill level and this price tag feels like it's the polar opposite

The peppers are flowering!!!! And the tomatillo has buds!!!! (And as of an hour ago one bud had opened!!!!!)
I need to get a fertilizer tomorrow, and because these are inside bbys I did pollinate them by hand earlier, but I'll have to trade with Mom for tomatillo pollen xD

was making bread and foolishly placed it on the table for a few minutes while i cleaned up the counter, Alice jumped up and ended up knocking it off of the table.
It's cleaned up and she didnt get glass in her paws but im so depressed
