During my last semester of college, I was focusing on the empowerment of the Chicana culture and the defining Mexican female figures that Chicanas used to express their empowerment. La llorona was a symbol taken back by women to express the struggles that they had faced to survive.

This is what I miss about myself before college. I was always willing to try no matter what. Even if it turned out bad, I would try to recreate within the next year or so. After starting college and even now, I feel if it can’t be done the first time then it’s not worth making.
