Low Ink or sendouq are prolly your best bet then. Maybe ask a team to scrim from sendou.ink/scrims, there are like 5 in the saturday low ink time slot

NA League is a ladder from 3-6pm EST, on battlefy. Pretty sure all the tourneys are trying not to conflict with that lol

imo skills/tiers leads to complacency (and an aversion to challenging higher-level opponents) more often than not, and that is a bigger problem than whatever "gatekeeping" is going on

if they think they're at some higher level, then prove it those people

the reputation growth will come with that

midlevel when you suggest anything other than pencil splash double aggro: “erm i dont wanna learn how to play a new comp, so that’s uhhh unviable”
mid level when jp gets to finals in area cup with double charger tri nouveau: “omg guys this seems so strong!!!”
(people focus WAY too much on comps)

I feel you on that. What’s Quackin fought Gourmet Race and FTWin (twice!), and we managed to take a game off of Hypernova. It’s a great opportunity to get VODs to review and find new ways to improve

For tourneys with existing podcasts sections like Low Ink predictions (popcast), SAC, and the like, you could take those vods and shoot clips in between background music

It’s much rarer relative to “guys we gotta play less aggressive,” it was an exaggeration to say it’s not there at all

it’s just unfortunate that there’s been so little development of language that directly refers to what actions you take in-game. Things like kiting, poking, rushing down, peeling, baiting, and others are pretty common in other team games like overwatch. The most the splatoon scene uses is “dive” lol
