Question for raised bed gardeners. Can you straw for compost/filler? I have 2'tall sides, and I have a couple of bales of straw in my way. Thought I would use them up. 4X8 x2 foot bed.

Just back from over 2 weeks in the west. Everything was dry, I think our yard did the same. It's dry. Time to harvest some seeds and water the rest.
