Miami's D was a force for much of the evening. Outside of that one instance of blown coverage for ND's 63-yard gain, they played tough and tight. And Carson Beck looked great. Confident, comfortable, snappy. Not at all like his last season with UGA.

I see it was actually a botched snap that lead to this and not just Cristobal being clever. Fair enough.

Miami could have salvaged that drive - it was an easy field goal - but the offense leaves the field with nothing but padded stats.

I didn't go into this game expecting to see Castellanos outperforming Simpson, but here we are.
