Eva was left at the doorstep of a convent for Ishgardian nuns as a baby during an eventful meteor shower (hence the name Starstorm). She grew up in an happy home with the nuns, but after rumors of witchcraft started a crackdown, Eva was given a letter of recommendation and a carriage to Gridania.

You all won our hearts with your hard work and dedication. I think that is what truly matters.

Reminds me when I would say “The Last Jedi is a great movie” to a room full of men to just watch the chaos unfold.
