Something cool I get to experience here now and then. A great horned owl hangs out in my neighbor’s tree some evenings and early mornings. The video is too dark, but you’ll hear him. 🦉

The amount of housework I can get done during a week off is making me wish I could somehow get a schedule that lets me work every other week. Or maybe it’s the fumes from the lemon wood polish addling my brain. 🍋 ✨

I promise I’ll gradually work up to posting more. But lately I’ve just been too bone-tired to do much more than get my work done and get the bare minimum of functioning done offline.

In the meantime, I enjoy the vibe here, the beautiful photos, and the comfort of not being alone in my anger.

It’s a beautiful day where I live, weather-wise. It’s a shame about it being a red state and the summers are intolerably hot. Todd’s enjoying the yard with me at the moment.

I’m mulling over what I’d like this space to be. I was once an avid blogger, but I really only wrote for my eyes, and life then was much more exciting! The character limit here doesn’t lend itself to that sort of thing, alas. I’ll write a more proper intro after sloughing off the work-week’s cares.
