Today I learned that you can't bring a durian fruit on a Finnair flight. Not that I would have, of course. This wakes up additional questions like is this a thing with several airlines? Who brought a durian on a flight in the first place? Has someone somewhere banned surströmming as well?

Eh, larper problems. Does this luggage I'm about to buy to replace the old, broken one I have fit at least one if not two renaissance gowns with underskirts, a petticoat and two spare shirts? No? How many liters of volume does a renaissance gown take, anyway?

For us, an ideal choice in a game twists your form and holds you up against a mirror, reflecting a part of your person that you haven't seen in the light of day.

There are no right choices. No wrong choices. Only fresh perspectives.

Today I learned that platelets can donate mitochondria as tiny battery packs to cells that are not doing so great. Mitochondria that are no longer inside a cell when this happens are called mitlets. Mitles, awww.

Having one of those weird days again. The entirety of people working in customer service seem to make the determination that I'm not from here, and are communicating to me in English. This is despite me initiating conversations in Finnish with clearly Finnish shopkeepers, so no idea what's going on.

Back in the days, TNG used to be peak Star Trek for me. None of the spin offs that came after quite topped it. Similarly, Empire Strikes Back used to be peak Star Wars, but no more. Andor has rapidly taken its place as peak Star Wars, and oh gods is it worth watching.

I've had a new job for a grand 4 days. My boss: "Hey, we have this new position opening up that looks like a good fit for you. I think you should apply." Heck, I just got here.

Dear internet. Today I spent time trying to figure out if there is a budget-friendly way to simulate the darkest of blacks for a larp costume. Turns out it's complicated as people like to make dyes instead of cloth. I don't want to send money to some uppity artist either; would prefer a nice artist.

My day in short: "Dear tech support. Ever since I updated your VPN, I've been unable to see cat memes on imgur. Send help." Achievement unlocked, tech support answered to me with a meme. I guess it's not bad if this is the currently the worst of my problems with everything else that's been going on?

Three job interviews down this week. I feel incredibly lucky and thankful for having gotten to participate in each of them, even if I've felt increasingly like three bamboozled kittens in a trenchcoat. You can only prepare for interviews so far before it becomes like some weird circle of deja vu.

I was dunking on Charles’ new tartan but this is a COOL addition. Many of the people accused of witchcraft were Gaelic people merely practicing folk traditions. This would then escalate into the ethnic cleansing of the Clearances.

And it looks KILLER
