Calling a feminine man a facsimile of a trans woman is nasty work. Before anyone tries to be like "you clearly don't know what a faceimile is", read the etymology of the word. Even if you used the "similar" meaning it's still gross. Also, whowver asserts uke = trans women... fuck you!

I remember seeing people talking about this before and I remember hating the concept of it. There is no "female gender" role in a gay relationship! Equating bottoming to be a woman is both misogynistic and homophobic. This also implies there is a "male gender role" in a lesbian relationship 🙄
homo yuri ホモ百合 In Japanese, a uke x uke couple is also called homo yuri ホモ百合 or BL yuri BL百合. This is probably because yuri 百合 is a genre of lesbian fiction, and a couple of uke characters is, supposedly, a couple of two characters who should have female gender roles in a gay ship.

On a more serious note, I love the writing so far for Diamond Dust. The beginning is rather cerebral and philosophical. It got me to look up Différance. Today was payday and I had to get this before it disappeared. Every time I get a manga in Japanese I keep telling myself how badly I need to get back to studying Japanese. Otherwise, all of the manga I got will just be decorations and not books I can actually read.
